Easter Greetings

I'd like to wish you all a very, very

I'm off out this afternoon .... somewhere nice I hope!

Meanwhile I'll leave you with some photos from our Easter parade in school this week ....
the children had been set a challenge for their Spring Break homework ....

We had all the beautiful bonnets as usual
but new for this year was the Easter Garden display.
The children were invited to make a garden with an Easter theme .....

As always, we were stunned and thrilled by the response.... as parents and grandparents staggered in carrying amazing creations! I wish my garden looked as good as some of these.

We have some very talented, artistic parents out there!

  5. Hello Kathy,
thank you for your kind comment.
The Easter work at school looked so lovely and took me back to when our girls were at school, sigh.
I hope you enjoy your days off from school and catch up on all that needs doing and some rest and relaxation! Happy Spring.

  7. I'm sure you really meant talented and artistic children! Actually realise how much work parents put in though sometimes wished when mine were small that the mums would take a back seat and let the children do it. Our school stuff often ended up being a competition between mums for the best bonnet, "pace egg or pumpkin lantern. Have a lovely holiday

  9. Oh you have just brought back a memory! When I was about 7 years old I won in the school Easter Garden competition, I won a big chocolate egg. I can remember my mum helped me to make it and my brother helped make little crosses out of matchsticks and we collected moss, it was in a green shallow bowl!
Lovely photos, have fun this weekend, Happy Easter!
    love
