Project 365 ~ Week 19

Another week is over. I feel as though this one has just galloped by ... so busy in work, so tired at home! So much to do!
Never mind, just one more week until our half term break.... and I'm looking forward to something lovely next weekend!

The plants on my classroom window ledge cheer me up every day.137/365

A victim of the recent drought..... my 'Living' Christmas Tree lives no more! We have had it for two years but, this year I think it was already stressed with the fierce winter, and then it just surrendered to the dry spell. I'm so sad!

Our Family Assembly went well today.... the children loved performing for the rest of the school and their parents. The theme was "Bread" and we included the story of the Little Red Hen which the infant children loved. They laughed every time the noisy yellow duck said his lines!
Everyone knew their words in the end and their singing was lovely ... phew .... that's over for another year!

  4. Looks like you're on the right track with that healthy lunch! What a lovely bright window for your cheerful plants. Sorry to see your poor Christmas tree ~ the very cold winter finished off a few things here too! Your family assembly looked delightful and I'm sure everyone appreciated and enjoyed it. I hope next week is more relaxing for you (although 'teacher' and 'relaxing' don't really go together, do they? It's such an important career but so very time consuming and exhausting! Here's to your upcoming holiday ... and glad you were able to exchange your shoes :)

  6. Great photos! Your salad dips look very tasty and your classroom windowsill very cheerful. what a shame about your Christmas tree - it has been a strange time of cold and drought for many plants and we have lost quite a few and have some that are struggling:)
