I've been mad busy these last few days catching up with everything after our long weekend away ... you know how it goes ... there was no food in the house ... but there was mountains of washing and ironing to do! Where does it all come from?
But I've also been trying to catch up with nice things too, like everything that's been going on in blogland .... so many posts to read!
Everyone seems to have loved this ... and I've caught up with all the best bits on Youtube!
And I've been trying to catch up with everybody's April Scavenger Hunt collections.
As always there are some very inventive 'snappers' out there ... especially for the Shakespeare and St. George titles ... just wonderful! If you haven't seen them yet check out the linky at the top of my page!
I haven't had a chance to comment much this month but I have done my very best to read everyone's posts ... and I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with for May!
Another day off for me tomorrow ... our school is used as a polling station! I don't know how we're going to cope with five days next week!

Wasn't the wedding lovely?! They looked so happy and beautiful too.
ReplyDeleteDon't talk to me about ironing! Hate the stuff and like yours the piles grows when I'm not looking!
I'm hoping to join in Mays scavenger hunt. Wish me luck.

Washing and grocery shopping, the worst two things to face after a holiday. We must be incredibly dirty to have so much washing. Aren't you glad we don't have to go down to the stream and scrub our washing on the rocks? Then again if we did that, we probably wouldn't be blogging 'cos we would do our social networking while doing the washing. :)

Lucky you having a day off, enjoy love Lesley x
ReplyDeleteAn ideal opportunity to catch up with the ironing then! Or maybe not!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day off whatever you decide to do.

The worst bit about going away is coming home to a pile of washing and ironing. Hope you're soon caught up.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the wedding too. Our work is never done is it. It seems when we get a few days off we have double the work when we get back.
ReplyDeleteMy school is a polling station too but I have to work! We have to open side gates and enter around the back as we are not allowed into the hall, but we still have to work. boooo!
ReplyDeleteone week has almost gone and I haven't taken a single photo. I might be dashing around on the last day like I was Arpil's scavenger list at this rate!
I'm not looking forward to the first full week, but at least there's only three of those and then half term!
Hmmm! Am I jealous?.......YES! Make the most of your extra day off. Ros
ReplyDeleteI have an utterly ridiculous amount of ironing to do. It's my second most loathed household chore. Might have to treat myself to a large amount of wine once it's done!
