Well done to everyone who joined in February's hunt. And a very warm welcome to all my new followers ... it's lovely to have you on board. It might take me some time to find all your blogs but I'll try my best!
There are some fantastic photos out there! Do try and take a look on the Flickr link on my sidebar.
Some are so professional it's hard not to feel intimidated ... but I'm just doing it for fun, and hopefully will pick up a few ideas for being more inventive along the way!
It's so annoying not to have the linky any more. If anyone knows another way of linking that's free please let me know.... I'm open to suggestions!
As promised, here's the list for March:
a lion
a rainbow
something green
an empty chair
something sentimental
peeling paint
a collection
a ring
a fancy gate
a shadow
something as old as you
a lamb
March came in like a lamb here on the Paradise Peninsula ... hope that doesn't mean it goes roaring out like a lion at the end of the month!
Good luck everyone, and happy hunting!

ooh, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to give some of these a bit of thought. I'm so enjoying this challenge every month.
I miss the linky as it would have been a convenient way of blog hopping. I don't know how else to do it but my man is a techy guy and he knows about everything it seems, so I will ask if he has any ideas!
Great list, especially the lion and lamb!
ReplyDeleteOh - that is a good list - some challenging ones there's - need to do some thinking :)
ReplyDeleteoooh thanks, lamb hunting my fave, went last week but we were too early, hopefully soon xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the new list. Am so enjoying this!
ReplyDeleteLisa x
Hmm. Some challenging topics there...
ReplyDeleteHi i'm new this month to your photo challenge and am looking forward to the themes
ReplyDeleteThanks for the new challenge :) Yes, I liked the fact that it came in like a lion and went out like a lamb, too. I think there are some free alternatives to the linky, as many people use them.
ReplyDeleteMister Linky (http://www.blenza.com/linkies/index.php) is not free but very inexpensive ($10 a year) - I use it for my Turn the page ... Tuesday posts and it has worked out wonderfully.
ReplyDeleteSo excited for the new list!
Ooh - quite a challenging list this month, will take some thought as Louise said :-)
ReplyDeletewow, I would like to try it this month, do you have to have a flickr account? I have already thought of my lion....
ReplyDeleteFebruary came and went. I took no photos for the Scavenger Hunt due to damn work, the damn dull and damp weather, and a damn cold getting the way. I hope to join in for March? x
ReplyDeleteoohh I may have to join this, love my photography and the idea to being made to take photos of things I wouldn't normally take photos of :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you, got my thinking cap on , very excited x
ReplyDeleteGreat! I can see some real challenges here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the fun you are giving us.
Cheers
Helen
Thank you Kathy - will get snapping xx
ReplyDeleteI'm a newbie at all this, but I'd love to join in, I enjoy a challange. Thank you very exciting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming over and commenting on my photos for the February Scavenger Hunt. Great list for March, well done thinking of a lion and a lamb.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you couldn't be intimidated by my photos as I don't have an expensive camera and am by no means a professional.
Looking forward to getting out and about to take the piccies I need.
Hi Kathy
ReplyDelete*waves at you from across the water*
I found your blog via The Girl who took part in the February Scavenger Hunt and I'd love to have a go at March's hunt. Do we post our pics at a certain time? I don't have a Flickr account but will happily do a blog post about it :)
Ooooo, this is exciting. I'm loving these challenges so much. Better get out the camera, NOW! :)
ReplyDeleteAnne xx
I love this idea! I'm keenly following all of the February efforts, and am so disappointed (with myself!) that I haven't manage to join... so far! Another thoughtful list- getting people really pondering. I must make an early start on March- I have some ideas already :) Thank you! x
ReplyDeleteI only found your blog yesterday so this'll be my first month joining in. Looks like a good list, I think it'll make me a lot more observant as I'll be purposefully looking out for things I'd normally just walk past.
ReplyDeleteHow fun...I would love to join in!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, Thanks for the March list. Can't wait to get started on the challenge. Thank you so much for hosting this. It has bought such a lot of joy into our lives. I do hope you will be able to stop by sometime and check out my February collection. Thanks again. Best wishes, Kerrie
ReplyDeleteThankyou for the new list. Had meant to do last months but it just didn't happen..... Off out hunting now x
ReplyDeleteGoing to give this a try this month. Hopefully I can manage ti find most of the items on the list..yhink the lion will be the most challanging.

I just found your little scavenger hunt game and am so excited to participate in March. How fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy, that's a challenging list - is there anything as old as I am?!! As someone else mentioned, would be really good to have a linky type thing again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list. The school mascot for our town is the lion. I was so sorry I couldn't do February's due to my flu. Will try again for March.
ReplyDeleteAnother good list there. I'm looking forward to seeing the next batch of photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited! And yet also terrified! This seems to be the two major feelings I oscillate between when attempting these challenges. I initially go "YES!" and then go, "Holy crap, where will I find a lamb in the middle of Hull." But I'm onboard - let's go!!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy, I thought I'd pop back with a link for a linky tool. which I have seen others using on blogspot.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.linkytools.com/
If you're interested, you can sign up for free and put the linky on your blog.
Hope it helps!
I got over half my photos ready for February's SH,and then the weather turned wet and I didn't get a chance to complete in time! Never mind will rise to the challenge for March.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind happy birthday wishes to Bella. She may be 4yrs,but she's still got those naughty puppy ways! :0)
Oh boy~some real hard ones! I need to get started on this now!! thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the first of the month 'cause it means we'll have a new list! And boy what a challenge -- I think they get harder every month. I love the lamb and the lion for March -- but at times like this I wish I lived in England. We don't have sheepies around here -- we have corn LOL! Thanks for all of your fun with these lists -- I'm enjoying it immensely -- even my hubby gets in on the action by suggesting places where I can get the pictures!
ReplyDeleteI've been loving watching everyone's contribution to this fabulous project. I'm so tempted to join in but it's crazy busy here at the moment - will it go on all year?
ReplyDeleteHi. I linked to you through Bad Penny. What a fabulous idea to have this photo challenge. It really will make me think. I am looking forward to taking some interesting new pics. Have ideas for a collection and a shadow, but have no idea where to find a lion - YES, - just got a good idea! Ann x
ReplyDeleteHi, can I join in too? I'm looking forward to finding piccies to share! toni xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I found your Photo Scavenger Hunt via Freefalling and via Anne from Ungardened Moments.
I am so excited to participate in March, but I have a question: all photos must be photographed by the participants? Because I never had the opportunity to take a photo of a lion...
I was so excited to find this. What a great idea!
