No - these are not in my garden. I took this photo last year in the Lake District.
We had a lovely day here today ... it was so warm that some of my class took off their coats at playtime and were so distracted by the brightness in the sky that they forgot to bring them back into school ... result one lost coat and one very cross mum at hometime!
I'll have to try and sort that out tomorrow!
The very patient Mr B. took our lovely boy out for his very first driving lesson tonight.
We've gone from the Little Tikes car to a Ford Ka in the blink of an eye.
How did that happen?

I love your sentence about Tikes Car to Ford Ka it says so much! Wasn't it a lovely day yesterday? Hope you can find the lost coat:)
ReplyDeleteIt's frightening how quicky our babies grow up!!! Good luck with the driving lessons!!!

Good to hear from you.Have you taught on the Wirral for long?My OH was science adviser /inspector for Wirral LEA until he retired several years ago.I was a primary school teacher but had to retire at 50 because of health problems. I missed it at first but love being retired and have never been so busy!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the driving.Been there ,done that---frightening.
Love the images! Hope dads nerves are ok lol x
ReplyDeleteThanks for popping over to say hello last week. That photo of daffodils brings back really vivid memories of Easter holidays in the Lakes during the early years I was married - we always stayed in my in-laws' static freezing cold caravan! I have a 14 year old at the moment and I know time will just fly and he'll begin driving before I can blink! I don't drive so perhaps he'll be able to take me shopping... xx
ReplyDeleteI lost my brand new approved school uniform coat at secondary school! My Mum was furious, and always swore I lost it on purpose. I never ever managed to convince her someone really had stolen it from the PE cloakroom! Your son looked very confident at the wheel of his Little Tikes, he should do well with his driving lessons, and has a great car to practice in too. x
