Time for a much needed pause today,
as the days are slipping away so quickly, with so much still to do.
Today we lit the third candle on our Advent Wreath ....
and we hung up the symbols for Joy!
Christmas is such a joyous occasion in so many ways,
but this year, I'm just looking forward to having our children back home.
My son returns from uni on Saturday.
I haven't seen him for three whole months!!!!
And my daughter will be back in time for Christmas too.
There will be four places at the table again over the next few weeks ....
the way it used to be.

So lovely you pause for advent. The season goes so quickly with out taking a breath and rembembering the reason for the season. Glad there will be 4 plates at the table.

ReplyDeleteTime is slipping by so quickly and we all get so anxious about getting things done - it is good to take some time out to think about the simple joy of Christmas. Joy too in having all your family back together again:)
