  2. Kathy, I SO enjoyed your photos here! That snowman in the snowflake is adorable! Upside down Christmas trees must be a new rage as I saw quite a few of them in stores this year! Certainly a fascinating idea! Whoever came up with THAT notion? I need to carve out some time in the new year to re-enter your wonderful scavenger hunt! I started off strong and then wussed out! Happy Holidays to you! Hugs, Annette

  7. This is a lovely set of photos Kathy, well done! I think it will be nice to look back on this christmas A-Z in a year or two and remember bits of this christmas!

I was not keen on the A-Z idea at first as it was a lot to think about at a time when we are all so busy, but I think I have it sorted now and will be posting mine on Friday or saturday.

Thanks for all your hard work organising each month for us this year, the scavenger hunt has been great fun and I think it has made us all notice and think more :)

  9. Yep, I grew up in the north of England and there was always an orange in my pillow case on the end of the bed, my kids (and grandkids) would wonder what on earth was going on if they got that in there stockings now, especially with our abundance of fresh fruit here at this time of the year. I finally joined in and have had a ball doing it, thanks Kathy, you can see my offerings on my photographic blog.. http://photographsiheart.blogspot.com/
Looking forward to joining in next year too...

  18. Thanks for your comment - yes I did visit the Wirral, I mentioned it in the previous post. Dave's mum lives there. we just made a very quick stop in West Kirby so I could see the sea but I would have liked to have walked out to Hilbre Island again! It was far too windy.

  24. Your 'three kings' are lovely - where did you get them? This is a great set of photo Kathy - the upside down tree is very odd, I can't imagine having one of those at home.
