A Postcard from ...
Over the summer we couldn't get out very far because of my hospital appointments. So in the spirit of 'making the best of things' ... our new philosophy on life ... and 'live for the moment' plus 'never waste a good day', we spent a lot of time exploring our local area.
Now, we have lived here on the Wirral for 31 years, moving 'over the water' from Liverpool when we got married, but there were lots of places we had never been to before... I'm ashamed to say. When we usually get a chance for a day out, we tend to travel further afield, to the Lake District, Derbyshire or North Wales .... but this summer we have found so many lovely places right here on our doorstep. Places that we've always known about, but have never got round to visiting.
