Congratulations Edd!

I'm so pleased that Edd won The Great British Bake Off ... such a talented  and unassuming young man!
Much as I admired Ruth's work, I'm always put off by frighteningly efficient people ...
I've really enjoyed watching this series, and will be bereft next week without my fix!
I loved the credits at the end where we found out what all the contestants are doing now ... for many it must have been a life changing experience!

  3. I really enjoyed this too and feel ready to experiment with my baking again! Initially I wanted Ruth to win but Ed won me over especially as he seemed to show more technical skills in his dishes. What will we do now on a Tuesday evening?!!! x

  4. We've enjoyed it so much. I thought Ruth would win until I saw the size of her scones in contrast to Edd's small perfectly shaped ones. I love huge scones but they didn't fit in with the other pretty and delicate offerings on the plate - I'm going to miss this programme too:)

  5. My boys have skillfully managed to make sure that I have missed this series, but I think this perfectly illustrates why I need to regain control of the remote!!!! Loved your previous post too. xxxx

  6. I know what you mean about Ruth! I was sad to see Miranda go and sad that the series has ended too.
