A Postcard from Sorrento

Mr B. and I have just returned from a few days away in Sorrento where we had a lovely half term break .... the town was very quiet as the season doesn't really start until Easter. I think in summer it is so hot it is hard to explore the area, but we were able to travel around without having to contend with blazing sun and busy crowds.
We feel like we've been cheating winter, for although it wasn't sunny like this every day, the air was mild and it felt like May in England. Sunshine lifts your spirits so much and puts a spring in your step.
We did lots of sightseeing and lots of walking too, which was just as well because there were lots of calories to burn off...
We flew in late Sunday night to find snow on the floor and ice on our car ... oh well, back down to earth with a bump!
For all those who were concerned about Inca in kennels...... she was just fine, although very tired. She's been playing with other dogs and having lots of walks. We couldn't be happier with the way she was treated.
I need to say a big thank you to Sue and Tony who have looked after her so well, and even sent us a text to let us know she was settling in and eating well. That really put our minds at rest!

... and the broken heart? That's mending nicely thank-you, I'm very proud of my lovely girl and can't wait to see her this weekend!
