Ready for Christmas?

We're pretty much ready for Christmas here on the Paradise Peninsula.
Everything is under control - I've never been so organised.
This is our 'living tree' - bought last year and amazingly has survived utter neglect throughout 2010.
The big tree is in the living room but laptop gremlins are stopping me from showing you.
The house is decorated ... the conservatory is filled with lights
Cranberry Relish is made ... and of lots other good things to eat too
... cakes, fudge, peppermint creams,
Presents are all bought and mostly wrapped ...
The main food shopping is done ... with just fresh fruit and veg to buy next week.
All the washing and ironing is up to date ... cupboards have been tidied
I'm not really feeling 'Ho-Ho-Ho' about it all though, because tomorrow is my last day of freedom!
I'm going back to work full time on Wednesday.
I intend to spend my last day doing nice things!

  2. Your house looks wonderful, but you're going to meet yourself coming back. I thought I would be super organised this year as I stopped working earlier this year, but not so. I think I'm more unorganised than usual. Enjoy your day tomorrow and good luck for Wednesday.

  5. Hi! I just got caught up on your last few posts. Your house is decorated beautifully!! I love your conservatory. That is the type of room I could spend a lot of time in. You are so organized and ready for the holidays. And I also love your little cosies. If you got a chance, I would love to have the name of the book that they are in. Very cute! And I'm sorry about the loss of your other friend :( You are very smart in making the decision to make the most of life. I look forward to hearing about your wonderful adventures.
