I don't think my legs have ever been 'unstretched' for this long before now!
We headed off to Chester to take a slow stroll down by the river.
I love this traditional bandstand ....
The famous bridge spanning the River Dee ...
The view from the steps of the park ...
We bought an ice cream at this little kiosk and then slowly strolled back to the car.
It was a lovely warm, sunny day and I really enjoyed being out and about again.....
even if it was only for about half an hour!
I'm on the mend!

Sounds like a lovely short stroll in the sunshine. Nothing like the 'great outdoors' to help you feel better. Glad to hear that you are on the mend. Ros
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling a bit better - Chester looks very interesting, I'm looking forward to a time in life when we can have more trips to towns and cities, just a few more years to go, not that I'm in a hurry for my boys to grow up! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat to read your post and see that you have had a super trip out - it looks like a lovely walk and a good 'leg-stretch'! I've just been reading your previous post too - what wonderful gifts you have had from all your friends and family - lots of lovely things for pampering and enjoyment. Take care, Rosiexxx
