Currently ...

I haven't done one of these posts for a while, and I thought I should put in a cheery sunny one after all my moaning about the weather this year!

Reading
Don't be fooled by the review - 'it's a truly average read'. I've been reading a load of drivel lately, but I'm saving up some nice reads for my holiday.

Eating
Can't get enough of juicy peaches. Best if they're dripping down my fingers!

Drinking
Need I elaborate?

Listening to
I've recently downloaded the 'Sea Sew' album by Lisa Hannigan onto my i-pod. It's already a favourite.
Her voice is magical.

Watching
We've been watching the Tour de France for years and years now. It signals the last few weeks of term, and the promise of a holiday in France.  Mr. B. actually follows the race but I look at the countryside, they often whizz past  places we recognise, and check out the weather too.

Making me happy

That's easy .....

I'm just loving this weather right now, and not listening to anyone who says it's 'too hot!'
You may think I'm obsessed with the sun, but I never sunbathe and rarely get a tan.
It just makes me happy!

Wearing
shorts and T-shirts .... no photo .... it's not a good look!

Looking forward to

taking our caravan to Switzerland and France in a few weeks time .... hopefully more sunshine.

Thinking about

packing .... a logistical nightmare this year, as my daughter and my son and his girlfriend will be joining us at various stages. So we need to pack their camping stuff, and items that they can't carry with them. We always take far too much .... so I'm trying hard to slim it all down this time.

Fed up with

I'm not really fed up with anything right now, life is pretty good. But if I had to choose one thing it would be flies in the house. The downside of opening all the doors and windows I suppose.

What are you up to currently?

Oops, I usually post Flowers for Friday today so ....

a bargain bunch from the supermarket, already wilting in the heat. Oh dear!

  1. I'm so surprised you have peaches already! They won't be ripe here for several more weeks. And I'm happy you are finally getting some sunshine. :-)

  9. I adore peaches, especially now I've found a delicious salad recipe that uses them.
Packing is always hard for camping and why does it always have to be so hard to get your sleeping bag back into it's tiny bag?
I love the smell of stocks, although they don't seem to last very long...
