Project 365 ~ Week 30

I think this might be my last entry for Project 365 as it's all gone to pot this week .... I haven't taken any photographs since I came home from my hols. I'm back at work, the weather is shocking, and this weekend I found I've left my camera on my desk in school!!!
So I'm going to bow out on my last week in France!

A lovely display of  plates in the pottery in the hilltop village of Brantes.

276/365
Amazing teas at the market .... we bought the strawberry one.

277/365
 Colourful gift packs of soaps

278/365
A thunderstorm brings big puddles perilously close to the tents!

279/365
The shady medieval archways in Buis les Baronnies ... lined with shops and houses.

280/365
Sunday lunch with friends who actually "live in France!!!". We're very jealous!

281/365
Stocking up with essentials to bring home.

282/365
Last day. Can I take the sky home with me?

283/365
At Montelimar we discover that we're actually closer to Rome than London ... it's going to be a long drive home!

Our internet was down for a couple of days this week ... it was fixed the minute my lovely young man found out ..... so simple. He's going away to uni next weekend .... how are oldies supposed to manage without a teenager in the house?

  1. I'm sure he'll always be the other end of the phone, Skype is especially useful for keeping in contact with parents from Uni :)
You don't have to drop out because you've missed one week! Maybe take photos of things that represent the week you've had and simply note that they weren't taken there and then. You've done incredibly well getting this far, I failed at 52 Weeks halfways through, twice!
Whatever you do do, keep posting something :)

  2. Lovely photographs and I enjoyed looking at them.

I didn't enter this month due to being back at work, busy, busy etc.......

I love the fact that our young men and women can seem to fix anything technical within minutes, the same happened with my mobile and young son took it and had it working within seconds!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

  3. Lovey pics from France. I would adore a pack of those soaps and the delicious sounding strawberry tea! I hope your boy gets on well at Uni next weekend. You will have to get him to write a manual on how to cope without him! x

  5. Hope you cope ok when your son goes off to uni. When our youngest went what I hated was the silence.I was used to a house full of youngsters, the phone going, the bell ringing.Coming in from work the house felt so empty but you get used to it.

  6. Those soaps look lovely. Hope everything goes smoothly next week when your son heads off to uni. What a shame you're bowing out of Project 365, I enjoy seeing all your photos.

  7. How annoying is it to be camera less? Also internet less is very frustrating too! Sending lots of good luck wishes for an easy settling into uni for your son and love to you and Mr PP too.
Well done on getting this far with the challenge.

  8. Hello there! Lovely photos as always. Hope your first week back has been okay. Mine was really hectic. My brain doesn't seem to kick back into top gear quite so quickly these days. It's still full of summer and wool!!!!! Hope you adjust to the house to yourselves. It didn't take us too long! It's makes time together even more special when they all come home. Have a good week.
